The whole bike...
That would be Larry "Spiderman" McBride in the white shirt looking over the "hurt motor" that was just taken out of the bike...
How THAT for a "small block"  ...
The block is standing up-side down on the cylinder studs.... you can barely see the 2-center ALUMIUM connecting rods hanging out the bottom of the block...the other man is removing the gasket from the "dry sump oil pan"...valve-cover/cams and head are right-front in picture...

Unfortunately Brian Johnson had a lot of problems this weekend.He did lay down a good run on fri but he seemed to go downhill from there.I personally wanted him to do well this weekend as this is his final race as he is retiring.I wanted spiderman to win though which he did.He raced chris hand in the final.It was just starting to get dark and you could really see the flames shooting up from the 4 exhaust pipes behind the seat!

I wanted to see Brian do well at his last Top Fuell race also...
I think it's GREAT to see people come across borders and THE PONDS and do well...

Chip Ellis (the rider) is the one with his hand on the bike...
I took this picture at the finish line! note that the front wheel is NOT TURNING
