Stock motor ZX12R runs...5.92 1/8......9.18 1/4...

17/51 gearing...axle TO THE BACK of the 6-over swingarm...WORN OUT TIRE at 10PSI...
Spun a tiny-bit then power wheelied in 1st...shifted 2nd in the air...would have made a COOL video but Doomass me left the camera in my car at the shop...stayed in the air all the way through 2nd which was over in a flash with the new gearing...
3rd...4th...5th...run over...DAMN THAT WAS FUN!
Got there late...here are both of the runs I made tonight...
It's my first sub-1.50 60ft time and also the first time I've run two 5.90s back to back...
I AM a happy camper

MPH sucked...149+...tire pressure too low and we didn't get dynoed recently enough...
I wimpped out on the launch on the last run (no wheelie) making sure it didn't spin...NEED the new tire...
Can't launch nearly as hard on the throttle with this gearing (as expected) but it was definitely easier on the clutch as expected also...

KC is the man!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!

KC, you really rock! You also give me good info on 4 vs 5 gears. I was running 18/50 and getting what I considered great times for my fat ass on stock motor, stock arm (1/2 sec slower than you, bahahahahahahaha ) but eating clutches. I will try 17/50 and 5 gears when I go back to 1/4 in a couple weeks with 1361 and 6".

Keep it up and you will be the 1st to get into 8's on stock motor!

Be careful entropy the 1361 WILL be a wheelie monster off the line geared for 5-gears but...with GOOD throttle control I think you will like it...
I KNOW the clutch liked it...

frEEk...I killed the guy in the other lane didn't I
That's two time slips that coincidentally got folded to look like one ...

Mad Mike I'm bummed that you aren't here

UPDATE!!! Was a GOOD day...

Was picture perfect day today...
Long day and I'm tired...
Here's the NEW BEST TIMES...

I'm running two classes so I ran time runs in both classes for each round(x2) Here's the second set of runs...

I KNOW the bike had a 9.0? in it but...none of these runs were "perfect"... I AM HAPPY THOUGH!
They have a cool picture at the photo-trailer of the 9.12 run with the wheel up about 2"

MORE LATER...

Lorcan,
No spray. Look at the MPH. Would be more if sprayed.

Nukedog,
No it is a red 12. It is 8 over.

It isn't my bike and I don't know anything about it other than what the guy posted.

Holy thread reincarnation batman!!!!!!!!!!

At 680 lbs total, I went a 9.22 in 105 degree heat, and 3600 DA air three weeks ago.........

WIth a very high 1.40 something, 1.47 I think............, totally stock motor........

its is possible............, I get accused of having a piston kit at all the big races...........

Take my run in August in LA and give me the same track in COLD air with some sun on the track................., looks like his run was in NOV or maybe, OCT? not knockin him, just saying, check all the factors..........., we are all going slow right now, but its getting better......

There is a fat boy at our local track on a 14 with a ll the goodies, its bad, tons of bottom end, but no one here normal size who can ride has one........

same as before, rider is most important, if they both have similar weapons............

Guys, my bike that Osti33 speaks of is on the market!!

I unfortunately spun a bearing in August. While waiting for the new parts, I went and bought a new ZX-14 (with the help of my sponsor, NAARDEN Speedlinks)

All new parts are in, and motor will be back together in about 2 weeks.

Brand new crank directly from Kawasaki, all new rod and main bearings, rod bolts/nuts, rods, $400 complete engine gasket kit, bought the Muzzy counterbalance removal shaft, brand new Muzzy (OEM) clutches.

As much as I'd hate to get rid of the ZX-12, I gotta sell it to help pay for the new 14.

Accepting offers. Spare, but sick motor available for sale. Selling spare motor for $500 if buying the bike too, or $900 by itself. The cases, top end, and tranny are all good. Just needs some crank work or a new crank.

You've seen what this bike is capable of with stock motor at the right conditions on pump gas.

I will be taking the shift light and the billet kickstand to use on my new 14.

Here's the same link that Osti33 posted of what the bike has on it and some pics....
