Yello Belly pix: Buddy Rocks!
Buddy invited my wife & I for a weekend out of Houston's rain.
Steaks, n beers at rancho Buddy? you bet.
On Sun wives went to church, Buddy and I went to Yello Belly, my 1st visit.
Not quite like any track i've seen...

Command central (Buddy in R lane)

One of the spiffier cages

track regulation

the view downtrack

getting organized

Buddy and his stock motor 14 getting ready to embarrass a juiced busa

Buddy seemed to know every bike guy at Yello Belly, all of were full of tales of "the old man" taking down one after another.
WAY TO GO, Buddy!!!
In 7 years when I am 65 (Buddy's age), I hope I have 1/10 the energy and drive he does!!
Got a couple passes in with my new Muzzy air shifter, I spun pretty bad but shifter worked great.
Good to see Matt, & meet wee, hope to see both you guys at the Mile in Oct
Karl

And a good time was had by all at Yellow Belly Drag Strip, the Crown Jewel of good time drag raceing. No rules, just slightly more controlled than street raceing with a better launch area and a very motorcycle friendly track crew. I love it!

It worked perfectly, very smooth, no problems at all, set it up exactly according to the Muzzy directions. You are going to love yours.
BTW: your kit will arrive at my house today, and i'll ship it to you tomorrow.

I was there sun @ 2:00. I was going to stick around and meet Karl but I had no idea
when Buddy and Karl where supposed to be at the track. I called Matt a couple of times
but he doesnt communicate very well.......he called at 700 and Im in back in the garage
by then......I would have called Buddy but I wouldnt impose on someone that has company
in for the weekend. I missed it but I often do.....

DragRacing anywhere is fun...Are you allowed to race in jeans and t-shirt???
Never seen a track that offers shade for the spectators

For an old man like me to have a fan in a foreign country (Washington DC) could only happen in drag racing. Probably only in motorcycle dragracing. Thanks Vincent.
Yep, it's a 1/8 mile track and probably the most unique & exciting one in the U.S.

Show up and suited out is about all I did. Got a little wet down the road.
Wheelie is the real guy to beat now. Consistant low to mid 1.40 sixty foot times and killer reaction times make him so. I'm glad he drives a Kawasaki.
