Earth to Angi: how are you doing, Lady?
Angi,
I am sure I am not alone in wanting to hear an update on your condition. 
After all, you are the Princess, the Darling, the Sweetheart, the Bad-ass Drag Queen of the zx12 world!!!!!
I am sure KZZ1 has forgiven you for trashing his Busa (its "just a Busa", afterall  ), and is waiting on you hand & foot. But just the same, we'd like some news.
I hope you are healing as quickly as possible. I snapped my l femur 25 yrs ago and didn't really enjoy the experience, so my heart goes out to you.

Since Ang isn't responding I can let you know that I saw her and kzz1 Saturday and she seemed to be doing really well. I guess I'm surprised at how much she is getting around already. I started telling her she better take it easy but she didn't want to hear it. She said she has heard it enough from kzz1. Boy, Does he have his hands full trying to keep her down!
She did loop her crutches after coming in my front door though! Scared the hell out of me but it didn't seem to phase her much. I hear BOOM. I turned around and she is on the floor. OH SHIT!!! She says "I'm OK. I landed on the other side." For a moment I thought My insurance company was going to be replacing that Busa. LOL
She seems to be doing so well that I perdict she will be back in the saddle again before the season is over. Maybe not at the track but, on a bike!

If you see her again, give her all o' our best wishes. And suggest that she start her PT asap, and stay with it. I did't and I regret it still...

Hey.......I am not dead!!!! LOL
I am doing pretty good. Bored to freaking death, but I am dealing with it.
I had a few problems with the medication for pain that they had given me. The Doc gave me Viciden (sp?).....man, am I a wimp. That stuff put me out and then I would wake up with a major head and stomach ache. Kzz1 called and got the wimpy "Motrin" for me and now I am doing fine.
Pain is not bad and I am quite the crutch queen now....LOL, I just can not get really comfortable at my computer so I do not get on here much.
Thanks for asking entropy!!! I'll be fine and back to riding in about 7 weeks, 1 day and(I am not counting!!!!)...LOL....Doc says that it will take 8 to 12 weeks to heal. I have made it thru two.
I have some great people taking care of me.
-My house looks like a florist shop.
-My grandma brings me food every other day.
-Kzz1 drives me wherever I need to go and gets me anything that I need (Not easy with his busy schedule)
-Our buddy's wife comes over and helps clean my house.
-All our Biker buddy's come over to check on me.
Now if could only walk and do more things.....this would be like the ultimate vacation - damn it!!! LOL
OH YEAH! Need4Speed's house is a death trap for the walking impared!!! LOL....So much for a suprise b-day party....suprise, suprise, I bust my butt on the tile floor!! LOL. (I did not get hurt)

Here is my all new, modified and steel reinforced leg -
Right down the middle....damn.
Down the Side -
This is the damage from the surgery, I broke my Femur(sp?) bone in half right above the knee. That impact caused two small fractures in my knee!!!!! Couple pins and screws and then zipped back up!!!

Oh man Angie Im so glad your doing well!!! christina and I wish you the best!! wish we were closer so we could come and see you! but take care. I went through an ACL replacement surgery a couple of years ago and that was hell for me, but everything heals and gets stronger. do you have a practice tree? that will keep you in shape for the track!! well take care and good to see your getting around, watch out for those crutches, there kind of like dirt bikes, one little twist and your on your ass!!

OK, theres the leg damage, lets see the bus.
Glad you are doing well! I started a new job and it will be hard for me to make it to the track now. Oh well, needed the moneys!!!!!!! Take care Ang, and wish Ken well for me too... It's gotta be hell taking care of ya!!!!!

And you got the Bonus swollen version....My leg is 1 1/2 it's normal size......Trust me it is huge. (I am not a chicken leg to begin with...LOL)

Glad to see you are doing ok, per se!
I broke my left femur about four inches and 1 inch above the knee, displacing the chunk to the side and back. There were two long cracks going down into the knee as well. The kneecap was shattered, but tha's no biggie, as I'm sure you are aware. With the double break, they couldn't do a plate, so I had a nice long stay in traction, till enough calcium had formed to stabilize things. Then I was released and was semi-mobile. Hope your healing goes well!

LOL.....Too personal????.....As a kid I was a dare devil....Damn, Glad I grew out of that!!!! LOL....
I was about 7 and I climbed up on some bails of straws at my Aunt's house....turned around real quick and leaped of the top.......well, I should have took a moment to look at the tool chest that had an open drawer!!!! Whhhaaaammmm - Big hunk of flesh - GONE!!!
Local Hospital knew me by name....I had stitches about 20-25 times as a kid. Never broke a bone until now!!!! (Started playing with the Big Toys!!!LOL)

Angi...I had ACL reconstruction!!! I am limited as to what I can do now, but I can still ride, thats all that matters!!! I would rather had a broken leg...
So, did it mess up your MCL or ACL???

Anterior or Medial cruciate ligament - very common knee weak spots. I think yours are OK- if they were torn you'd know ALL about it

LOL Yeah! I know!
But you can add "Crutch" Queen to that list!!!
BTW - I do not have any other damage other than a broken Femur(sp?) bone. Broke totally in half a few inches above the knee. This shattered a portion of the bone in that area and the impact sent a crack all the way around the center of the joint. No ligament damage.

BA, I got a chuckle out of those also,,, RBK in da house.. LOL.. I had a new ACL put in 2 years ago, and WOW, worst pain I have ever felt!! and Ive been shot, out hunting before. I feel for you man that was terrible! glad to hear your doing better Angi!! christina and I are wishing you the best.
