wearing leathers
While at the pro star race,I overheard a comment to a Vanson rep about not wearing leathers the whole day at the track. The racers comment had to do with changing out of his leathers after each pass, that he does not sit on them or work on the bike with his leathers on while at the track..I'm curious what other members habits are.I find that my runs are about every 45 mins. and wonder is it worth it to keep changing?

seems some of the pros i have seen, ricky and ryan..removed leathers after each run...
I have a one piece so it's kinda a pain to get in and out of... hopefully i will have a set of pants to go along with my jacket.. then i could at least loose the top

I'm sure thet'd stay fresher, longer, for obvious reasons....
At the pro level, you need to be as comfy as possible, and take care of the task at hand. Picking sweaty leather out of places would surely take away from this..

I have custom Vanson leathers, and even in the 95+ degree heat in south La., I still keep my pants on. I do have an air conditioner in my trailer to cool off though. If I have to kneel down for anything, I make sure to grab a rag or something to protect my leathers from rubbing on the ground.
It really is a pain in the ass taking the pants and the boots on and off, so I just keep them on.
Plus I find that the more I wear my leathers, the more flexible and comfortable they become. I know when thye were brand new, they were so stiff, I couldn't barely bring my feet back up to the pegs after I would launch. I got them last March, and they are just getting real comfy.

I use to leave the pants on...Since the extreme heat this past summer I started taking my Vanson 2 piece off and letting them air out a bit along with my socks and boots...
From now on I will be changing after every pass if its a crowded track and really hot...
