MIROCK 60" ProSportbike a Bittersweet Weekend for Orient Express
 WALDORF, MD. - John Flood, aboard Orient Express' Turbo Busa, ran into problems Sunday at Maryland International Raceway's MIROCK event. Orient Express, the title Sponsor, had an up and down weekend at the track. After struggling to find a tune-up in Friday's testing, it appeared that Flood's bike's issues had been sorted out by Saturday, where he ran 8.19 for his final qualifying pass.
On Sunday, Flood's final attempt to remain in the ProSportbike class eluded the team. In the semi-finals, Flood power-wheelied off the startline. His wheelie carried him through the 60' mark, causing him to shut the bike down and costing Orient Express' flagship rider the position they needed to take the 60" class.
The blow was softened by Orient Express' privateer Jason Miller who ran multiple 7 second passes this weekend took the 60" class to secure his first 60" ProSportbike win this year. This is Jason's first ever win at MIR, which is owned and operated by his family.
