How to hardwire

I may be deaf dumb and blind, but I cant find a how to on hardwiring my headlights to my battery.

You don't need to hardwire your headlights to your batters. You might have a fried relay in your fuse box. Take a look at this thread:

You will see how to use a wire to jump the headlight relay to see if it is in fact bad. If its bad, you can replace the relay farly easy. That is what I did with mine. If this turns out to be your problem, and you have a hard time finding a replacement relay, contact me I have an extra one. I don't remember exactly where I ordered it, but do some surfing around you will find it.

Well the battery just died again, the new one that is connected to the new rectifier which is connected to the new stator. Would a relay keep the stator from charging the battery?

I pulled the J box apart, but cant get that relay of the inside. Any ideas?

I just looked at the link to the above post
I'm thinking that relay is soldered to a printed
circuit board...... so you'll have to desolder
the relay and get a new relay.... which I think
is a common relay
