Cylinder Head Swap

Do any of you know if a 2004 ZX12 Cylinder Head can be used on a 2001 ZX12? What are the differences between the two. The parts catalog shows different part numbers for the valves & Cams. If any of you have some info please share, I am trying to get my bike running again before the next race ( two Weeks).
Thanks in Advance!

you just have to drill and tap the later style head for the motor mounts. the place is still there, just not finished(driiled and tapped) a machine shop can easily do this. the rest is the same

the early style head would require a custom fabbed motor mount to fit the later style bikes

Kawpower I have a 01 and have a 02 bottom end no problem except the site glass and I think that has something to do with the screws fitting and the 02 has larger oil runners in the bottom thats all I noticed.
