Which Billet basket is better?

Is there a general preference for ZX12 billet baskets? I have been looking at APE, Falicon and Muzzy. Any first hand trouble with any of these?

I like MTC and Muzzy, but i havent used anyone elses basket

Got nothing bad to say about my FALICON,, actually there is one on ebay right now,, but the guy is retarded,, think he is asking $550.00 but then again it is brand new..

Yeah I saw that unfortunately its for a newer model. I need a 2000. I guess they must have changed the gear or something after 02 or 03?

I read somewhere that 00 ZX6 clutch springs are stiffer than the 00 zx12 springs and will swap, is this true? I can get a set from a friend for free if it is.

yes it's true and falicon makes muzzy'z basket and falicons cheaper. get the springs

baskets are all the same fitment for the ZX12rs! if you got the cash,, snatch it up...
i use Brock Davidson Springs 6 of them,, thats why my left arm looks like popeyes,, but the clutch doesnt even think about slipping!

you only need 3 HD springs not 6 (3 stock and 3 hd will hold a 40 hp shot of nitrous, so a stock motor will be just fine at 3 and 3)
the ring gear is different internally on the A-B bikes ( just springs) but they are still a direct swap between bikes. get a basket for any yr 12, or get the "billet basket kit" from Muzzys and put it on your gear core. i did that with dads. its the cheapest way to get a new billet basket... $360 i think if you can do the work yourself
