The Stealth has 1.75" Core, Supersport has 2" core and the Steptube uses 2.25" Race Only! (The Bigger the Hole, the more the Noise)

I just installed a TiForce on my 12. Doing some research. Sounds good, not nearly as loud as my Muzzy. Should have it mapped on Tuesday of next week. Let you all know how it does.

Just got back a reply form Dyno jet on the map for a 02 12 step hindle. They said the bike should be in for mapping by Sept 7th and Hindle said your will supply Dyno jet a pipe. So maybe by the end if Sept a map will be ready.

You don't need a map or a pc3 with the Hindle stepped pipe and if you bought the old version, well its equivalent to the rest but, yes, you did loose some ponies.

You should be one of the fastest bikes around that part of the would.I agree that if you find a pc3r that works(all the time)then you will gain 2 maybe 3 hp on top end.

Thanks for the input. Wrote hindle and they replied with the following:

The stealth is our street muffler. It has a smaller diameter inner core than the supersport, and so allows for more packing inside, making it quieter, just a little more subdued with the db's. The race muffler is less restrictive with exhaust flow, and may produce about 0.5hp over the stealth. It is about 2-3 decibels louder than the stealth (apx. 5-6 dbs louder than stock).

SInce you can "Only" Use the 2.25" Core Race Muffler on the Step Tube, forget about the Stealth or Super Sports! My understanding was that they burned out the Supersports mufflers in a very Short time during testing! To me, this means that a 1.75" core "IS" Quieter to begin with until all of the core is burned out!
