Sleek?? As far as "AirFlow"? As far as your "Personal Taste" "Styling Wise" to the design of the Bike?

The 2000 and 2001 are the most Sleek Stock Fenders Aero WIse. There is a company out there that makes one that just fits the Aero Rules stopping Just short of the 180 degrees parallel to the ground

The '02 and up ZX12R fender is a direct bolt-on and while not as aero, looks cleaner IMO.
Dan

Oh yeah.....if you have a '02 and up model........never mind.

You can do what Dubious did with the 14 and use a zx10 fender...Or do what some DragRacers have done, removing the front fender and slamming the bike to 1 1/2 inches above the tire, Ony good for DragRacing though!!!

Good Question!! It looks like it should be slightly better around the caliper / Fork area!

I like the sleekness of running a 60 series tire and dropping the
stock fender a good 3/4-1". Still plenty of room for some tire
growth at speed. Bonus: snugs it down a touch and lets you
drop the front a little more without banging the snorkel on the
fender as much on the street.

I run a "narrow" 00 -01 version on my bike, which is an 02. It is a skinny version of the 00-01 fender, made by catalyst.
