Poor Man's Rearset Pegs?
LP has some pegs called Super Pole V-360. Here's some close-up pics of a set...
http://www.labusas.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11196
... or you can go to LP's site (http://www.lockhartphillipsusa.com/)and look under "Accessories" and it will be the first footpeg listed.
Even though no part number is listed for the 12R I don't see why a set from another Kawi model wouldn't work. I'm running the old LP pegs that used to be on my '97 7R.
Opinions? Well?

ZX-7r pegs
So the ZX-7r pegs listed will fit the 12? I need a new set of footpegs.

Don't Redelk kid you. He's got the money for all the good "stuff'. His dad is Sam Walton. And don't let him fool you, he don't ride slow,as a matter of fact, his riding style reminds me of a young Eddie Lawson. I've seen him on the edge more than once. At the bars, he's always pickng up the tabs for the pretty ladies in the bars. He's such a ladies man. First at the store baby! Grazer

Re: Rear sets
The ones in the pic are angled down for more leg room. It looks like you can angle them any way you want like higher and further back. -ZXtra

LP 7R pegs on a 12R

Everything (spring, pin, clip, etc.) except the peg itself is from the 12R peg setup. The peg is off my '97 7R P2. At first, I thought you might be able to cut a slit (yellow arrow) in the adustable pegs for the spring so they would fold, but after looking how the new pegs adjust, I'm not so sure it would be possible. Still, I don't see why the 7R adjustable pegs would not work on the 12R.
Hey Grazer, tell the WHOLE STORY! That's LAST to leave the wall... FIRST to the store! Oh, I had to give up on the babes' bar tab thing... maxed out all my credit cards.

Uh oh! They came in and there's a little difference between the 7R and the 12R footpeg bracket. Namely the actual bracket the footpeg pin goes through is BOLTED THROUGH the bracket that attaches to the frame. OOPS!
After a little frightful drilling through the 12R's brackets and a little grinding on the LP peg mount... they are officially installed. My pegs are now about 1" up and 1" back from the OEM peg (or my old 7R peg for that matter. I'm still tweaking the shifter position, but the brake adjusted out just fine.
MY GAWD! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's like I got a completely new bike and all for around $50! I've done one 250 mile ride and still haven't got used to the new seating position. The angles of my legs, arms and back are completely different. It's as if it was a Gixxer or R1. I'm all over the tank.
Will be doing a group ride tomorrow and will find out if the readjusted shifter is in the right place and if I can keep my arms loose (Was putting too much weight on my wrists). Pics to come.

You CAN have "frontsets". They will adjust ANY direction you want. You can move the foward and down if you want.
