inside oil pan
I had the oil pan off to check for loose buggars and anything else that may have dropped in while the top end was apart.I noticed 4 holes in the casting inside the pan.I don't remember ever seeing anything there and was wondering if anyone else had a clue for what it was for.

No,but it was about 4" square and looks like the oil pickup would get in the way.

Describe the actual Hole and can you feel it?

VH,they're about the same diameter as the bolts for the pan.I guess I should have looked and see if they were threaded or not.They're located on the front of the deep end in the pan.I thought they might be for a baffle or splash guard.

Nothing bolts to those hole.
They are threaded.
Two in the front and two in the back if i remember right.

I just realized that I had an Extra Pan and will take a look myself to see what the Fuss is!
