Voz you need to change the gearing with that extention...16-47 will do or 17-49...

Did you start her up with just the collector pipe???

why do pics of crashed zx-12s make me so upset

best of luck getting her back into proper condition.... although with fixing streetbikes it seems you just need a lot of time and money.

my advice...get onto ebay...you'll find loads and loads there...there is an 05 with low miles which has been parted.....so you'll get basically new parts for cheap....coz you can invest the saved money on other goodies....

its a gr8 place if you have an eye for good stuff which i know you must be.....maybe you get some trick stuff for half the price...like idid.....

Voz........The one thing I found out is getting the stay pulled or pushed to the right width is fairly easy. It's Al and very soft, BUT getting the mirror mouting flats to be on the same angle is the trick. If they're off just a little the mirrors will show it in a quick minute. ONE HIGH and one low. Just a 1 or 2 degree twist will look huge. NOW you're in luck!!!! I made a little tool that you can bolt to those flats and twist them perfect without fucking up the tree trying to get a hold on it with all kinds of silly shit.... It has plenty of leverage so slight tweeks are easy. Let me know where to ship it and it's yours to use.

Also it's nearly impossable to get one strait without a known good example at your disposal to compare. Believe it or not my Silver bike was bent from the time it was new. I couldn't get it perfect until I purchased the Red 12R last year to compare it to. It was easy then.
