anodizing forks

anyone know what the inside of the outer fork tubes is like? is it a highly polished surface like the the inner sliders? need to know whether the insides of the tubes being anodized would be a problem. not sure how well they can mask the insides off.

thx

Freek the bushings are going to be the problem with that project. I recall someone saying recently that the 12R fork bushings aren't replaceable. That makes anything you do a PITA! By the way the bushings are what those polished lower halfs slide against. The bore isn't anything special.
