Thats what I was afraid of. Numbers all over the board. Did they say if it was because of clogging? Or were the first set of numbers AFTER cleaning and testing.
Being a disc type injector they arnt supposed to clog like pintle injectors.
So that is a 32# per hour injector capable of supporting about 240-250 hp with stock rail fuel pressure. More if fuel rail pressure is raised.
What was the charge to have them flow balanced? Or did they match them up with ones they had?
Thanks for the info.
What was the test pressure for that flow rate?
Did they give you the angle of the pattern?

The first numbers were test results as received by RC, the 2nd numbers were after cleaning. I have no idea of details.

This is interesting.. When I called RC engineering they said that the stock zx12r injector flowed only 310cc.. Is this correct?

when I went to kawasaki.com I couldn't find the part number for the injectors for 00 and 01.. I found 03-05 which are the same as the zx10r and the vulcan 2000.. How did you get 330cc injectors? Lucky...

He gets all the good stuff we could only dream about.
Are ya getting one of them rev extenders to get that monster

Does anyone know who makes the injectors?
I know the fuel pump and assembly is made by Mitsubishi, and the throttle bodies and assembly are mikuni.

Power Commander has them plug and play extended rev limiters.
They will get ya a lot more than cracking the ecu open and changing
out a diode or resister, but PC will only give ya an extended amount
depending on who you are. So I called them up and they said they might
consider selling me one that extended red line to 11,749.
Everything on Entropy's bike is rare, he must have gotten a hold
of Kawasaki's Special Extra Rare Race injectors. They ran these
on a few bikes and I hear they only sold them to a few big ZX-12
builders back in 2000. That is until them sanctioning bodies caught
wind of it.

Muzzys has 550 and 650cc injectors that fit in a stock chassis.
My guess in the inlet tubes is that without the rubbers you get an ugly entrance and the air doesn't want to go in. Without a nice radiused lip on the entrance flow is almost always compromised some.

can you use 550cc injectors on a stock bike with a muzzy exhaust?

bahahahahahahahaha,
Yep, every thing about my bike is rare including my mechanical knowledge. You could EASILY fit the total sum of my knowledge of fuel injectors on the head of the pin along with those thousand dancing angels and have lots of room to spare!

Karls 3 % larger injector could be from years of extra strong fuel,
then again it could be luck of the draw, What is the standard diviation.
someone with a fresh mind should do a bell curve and see what the probability of such hugh injectors are.

Just curious, what was the turn around time on those injectors sent to RC.
Anybody got a number for them, I might as well get mine cleaned while the
bike is down. I might have to send them under Karl's name or else they
might tell me mine are only worthy of 310.
How is the bike running Entropy? Hope it stays dry for the season opener.

Gary,
turn around was about a week? The Cheeseman did it for me so I don't know exactly.
But like Gerard says only 3%, and maybe due to 4 years of running Nutec, etc; Anyway, 3% don't mean shit to a tit mouse (like my Mom used to say). When you map the pc3 its all good.
My bike is running strong but fukken weather won't cooperate. Rain today, rain and 40's on Sunday. No track this week, and next week I start traveling again.
What's up with yr bike?? Is JC having time to do the motor??? Do you have all the parts?? He must be pretty busy, when I call his house he's always out working.

Otto65 and I put the fuel pump in the fuel pump "chassis" tonight. With some small modifications to a few parts, it went in nice.
So now its got a "190 lph" walbro fuel pump in it, so fuel volume will never be any trouble.
I'll post pics tomorrow of the assembly.

Some modifications are needed to mount the Walbro gss242/gss307 pumps in the fuel pump chassis. Nothing major. Order the pump and kit for a buick grand national turbo.
The upper hoop bracket needs to be fliped over and mirror bent. It has an offset to one side and has to be offset to the oppisite side.
The rubber seat under the pump inlet needs to be cut with a new sharp razor to about 1/4" thick.
Slice a 4" piece of 3/8" fuel line down length wise and bend it backwards around the pump under a band clamp. trim off the excess band clamp to about 1-1/4" long and after everything is seccured in place bend the extra strap back over the adjusting screw and secure it with safety wire so the band clamp screw cant loosten up from the pump vibration.
Trim the new supplied "s bend" hose to length and use the spring clamps (2 each end) to seccure.
Make sure to solder the ring connectors onto the wires and put the wire shielding back over the wires.
