Anyone have a swingarm socket...

Kawi service manual shows a special tool to remove the swingarm, 57001-1370 WRENCH, anyone have this that I can borrow? I'll pay shipping both ways...let me know.

If I remember correctly, during my swingarm swap, I just took a Craftsman 25mm socket and notched it out to where it had two tabs that fit. I think the other side takes an allen wrench/T handle/socket.

Take a punch and a hammer and just tap it out. That's how I do it.

I used a punch to loosen it, and a 22mm hex, this will work if you are careful.

Ozzy let me borrow a huge allen wrench that works on his 1st gen 12, but mine is a 2nd gen and for some reason Kawi changed it. It is bigger and has 4 grooved crosshair notches on the outside as well...

Mine is an 02 as well. Punch and Hammer to get the ring off. Then remove with the allen wrench. Done deal.

Find a traditional 13/16" spark plug socket. These sockets usually have an external hex on the top end . Turn it around and insert the extension from the inside ("wrong" end) and you'll probably find that the hex will fit your swing arm pivot bushings. Apply torque.

Dumb question I know but how on earth did you even think to us the wrong end of a spark plug wrench for that LOL I've used some interesting impromptu tools before but wow.

I was all over the place that day. I was there with a couple friends, if you were filming you might have caught me around the front of the bike. As for meeting I think we met this year briefly at Myltle Beach bike week I was there with 8sec1000 from psycho bike. Remember the incident at broken spoke We probably wouldn't have spoke though at GVille... I was hanging out with Larry McBride quite a bit that day since he lives around us and we're at his shop on a regular basis. Besides I was realativly new to the sceen then and was just soaking in everything.
