Ok I gotta give it up for Bridgestone...

I didnt want to post the great success I was having with these tires until I finished this current rear off. This time around, when I placed a brand new Bridgestone BT010 size 200 on the rear of my 12, I reset the tripometer to get an accurate reading of how many miles I get out of a tire. That said, the pictures do all the justice, but I got a whopping 6010 miles out of that tire! Insane! Now of course, as most of you know, I dont do wheelies or any stunts of any sort. I do my high-speed passes, sometimes in front of cops and sometimes not in front of the cops.

I LOVE THESE TIRES! I bought a lot of them off MAW back when they were on closeout. I'll throw a new one on come this Tuesday. I'll prolly have to switch to the new replacements, the 014's, when I run out of my 010 supply.

This is the tire just as it was, no longer going to ride on it:

Just gettin rid of the remains of the rear:

A pic afterwards of my dumb ass:

Beans you must ride a lot more conservative than I do. I've never got 1500 miles out of a tire much less 6,000! Average for me is 900-1200 miles out of a rear.

Harry - The rear tire is the equalizer between the immovable object (your ass) and the unstoppable force (your 12). So it makes sense that your tire would wear out fairly quickly.

What the fuck are you two girls talking about? You can't even see my chain. That's beans chain on the blue bike.

I use wd-40 or lps-2 to clean and sometimes lubricate my chain and pj-? or chain wax to lube or sometimes I might just piss on it.

I bought my bike to ride not clean so I don't spend 1 hour riding and 4 hours cleaning.

That pic of my bike was taken at the cabin at DG-8 where you had to travel down a dirt road to get there. No I didn't ride it around a salt mine!

Oh yeah.....

Hey I gotta say though that is the first 200 tire that I have had completely leaned over...I mean no more chicken strips on the side. I've always been able to get a 200 out with about maybe a quarter-inch of strips, but this summer has seen all the way over.

The EBC rotors are great...I'm kind third in line on them. They originally were with swft, then dino, and now me. I love em! The EBC race rotors, EBC HH Sintered Brake Pads, Muzzy stainless steel lines, Dot 5.1 Brake Fluid, and damn the brakes are too good. Dino grabbed the brake lever when he was up here last and there was like no play at all. Stops on a dime.

The EBC rotors do however like to stick to the pads after a rainy day. I find though that after a hard rain, usually the rotors are very warm still with barely any moisture. Its when you let it sit out in the rain that they are more likely to stick. Once I bring it into the garage, I usuallyu just wipe them down real quick to keep them from sticking.
