Trouble with the clutch

On the 12 last night at a red light, OK light turns green, put it in gear and all I got was a whole lot of noise...... Why Why Why? Burt clutch smell everywhere. Once it cooled off ran good enough to get home. Only 1900mi on it, should that be under warranty?

Marv... try taking the cover off and aligning the last fiber with the rest of the pack.
Possible warranty coverage... but why wait?
FWIW, my first clutch went out in 950miles from dragracing. The dealer warrantied it.

My clutch went out at 10k miles, warrantied also...clutch was dry as a bone when they pulled it off.

So I dropped in a Muzzys clutch that I paid for, and have a stock clutch in a box that Kawi gave me.

Ya know Kawi faxed to my dealer factory instructions on how to basically turn your stock hub into one similiar to the Muzzy hub, to essentially do what they should have done in the first place. Its just a sequential series of little holes that needed to be drilled into the stock hub to allow better oil flow.

What shocks me is they still havent fixed the stock ones on the new 12's yet they are sending these instructions to dealers. Why dont they just fix it at the factory level.

Ah Beans... its more than just the hub. Any dildo can do that hub mod.. its the bushing thats tricky.

Marv,
There's more to it than the holes. It's a system that works, not a band aid.

I cross drill the pusher shaft .040 by way of EDM to give a dual fine spray of oil inside the Hub.

Oh my.... Marv no way....lol. Maybe you should get a Busa.... then you'd only need to replace the stock chain, clutch hub, and hydraulic slave cylinder..... and the list goes on...

Doug, the last owner replaced the clutch after 14000 miles with another stock. Since this topic is repetitive and muzzys site does not offer technical data, please tell me wy the muzzys hub works better than the band aid.

Thanks in advance for your time.
