I will not use Cometic Gaskets in the Future!

Ordered 2 spacers and gaskets on Tuesday May 4 2004. It was supposed to take between 7 to 10 Business days which would have been Thursday the 13 the earliest and Tuesday the 18, the latest. I called them several times and Yesterday they were shipping and today they called because they "Still" were not finished so they are now "Supposed" to be shipping them for Saturday Delivery! I asked why so long and they did not have the Materials to make the parts!

I stated that Nowadays companies want to do without the "Workers" but this was the first time that I had heard of a company that wanted to do with out the materials also! Only in America and Specially in Ohio! I know the stock works very well and will check with Muzzy the next time!

Folks, we all have had problems with getting things we order from everyone, but on the whole, Muzzys and Spencer Cycle on a 1 to 10 would have to get a lot worse to come "Down" to 10 if these people are even on the scale at "1"!

I usualy use the stock head gasket and take the midle one to increase the comp a bit. Did that with Hondas and Kawas with no problem.
Never done that with the base gasket.

I am going the opposite way here. I need a .060 base "spacer" and a serious head gasket to handle the 150 shot of NOS. Everything is behind and I had planned to assemble and check clearances and C.R tonight and final assembly Saturday night. Now all will have to be done Saturday Night (Cannot work between Sundown Friday and Saturday) and put in the bike Sunday and get it up and running to put some miles on it for Tuning next Thursday (SO I can have my "Well Deserved" Break down on Next Friday before leaving for Maxton!

The problem is, that they did "NOT" have the material to make the parts and it took this long "TODAY" for them to actually get the order finished / Made! I gave them my account number with FedEx for them to ship 1 day FedEx and now for Saturday Delivery. If they had the material to make the parts I needed, I would have had this 2 weeks ago!

Close! Seventh Day Adventist (Same rules about eating and when the "Sabbath" is!) Of course I consider Racing on the "Sabbath" as one of my forms of "Church"
