HELMETS
I was thinking about getting a new helmet. I have a HJC and was looking at a SUNOMY. Is this a good helmet?

Arai RX7RR4, saved my head in a 120mph crash, I replaced it with the same model. It comes down to how much your head is worth to you, personally I want the best protection available.

well i go off my bike at 106 and sustained a bunch of injuries. My helmet was trashed. Not one scratch to my head, nor a concusion. I wear a x-11 /shoei. Shoei or Arai , cost more, but worth every dime. They do fit differently.

Arai.....was wearing a Quantam/f model when I went down on the track last year....it saved my noggin. I have had many AGV's, Beiffe's, Fulmers, and aNolan.... The Arai is far and away the best helmet I have ever owned. The Shoei is a nice helmet too, but dont fit my head....

The dealer took 45 min. to correctly fit my Arai helmet with different size pads. They told me Arai will not allow their dealers to sell thru the mail their helmets to ensure the time is taken to fit the helmet to the buyer. That says alot in my book.

Hmmm, I bought my Arai from helmetshop.com but I did fit it at the local stealer (dealer) first. Like the post above says, fit is everything and the Arai and Shoei fit differently, I ended up with the RX7RR4 because it fit my goofy shaped head the best.

I wear a Shark helmet. It looks awesome and fits better. Alot of moto gp and world superbike racers wear them. If you are looking for a nice Euro helmet, I would highly recomend Shark. You can sometime find them on e bay for a good price. The best fitting helmet I ever owned was a Simpson bandit. It was sick. I sold it with a matching dragbike. Goodluck. Joe

helmet
I have a hjc and had a get off. The chin was scratched but that was about it. Not bad for 99$. Sunomy is big here is Germany. When watching the MotoGP racing they advertise their helmets alot. Never had one but I would consider getting on after trying it on first.

Fuck Suomy...... good luck getting spare or replacement parts.
Go with the best... Shoei or Arai have tons of different models for different head shapes.
Not sure about "other" brands....
