Best mileage tire for the 12?

Assuming stock sizes for the 12, what is the best tire for getting the most miles out of?

I am averaging 4000-4500 miles on my Bridgestone 010's and I was wondering if anyone is getting anymore than that out of any other tire?

haha...i corrected that up there, meaning 4000 to 4500 miles....the only time i run low on mileage there is when i do this one stretch of road down here all the time, its a 40-mile straitaway stretch and the tires never see less than 170 the whole way through

Man, when I rode 010's I'd kill to get to get that much milage out of 'em. 2500 and my front was shot and by that time I'd be on my second rear.

But, ah, I know that handle on the right grip controls the amount of tire shredding...

I'll get 2000 for 207's and the profile is shot, but i'll run them up to about 3000 with crappy handling and cupped front, for the last 1000 miles.
I just put on a set of 208's we'll see. I wanted to try a set of 010 but they wernt in stock at the time.
You guys seem to like the 010's so i figured i'd try em. Maybe next time.

I have to say the Dunlop 208s are a good tire...I still have them on my '02 12, 2100 miles and the rear tire now needs to be changed, it has 1100 DragRace miles on it - Burnouts and all...I never changed it because the 208 hooks up...Got my $$$ worth!!!...Yep, got a brand new 208 for $160.00, so I am putting another one on!!!

if you get that much mileage out of the BT, stick with it, nothing else short of a touring tire is gonna do any better. I feel good when I get 3000 miles out of a tire.....any tire...lol

Pirelli Diabolo and Diabolo Corsas are good tires as well. I went to the Diabolo Corsas over the 010 because they were more consistent as they wore down.

But 010's are good tires.

Diabolos are good tires if you don't like to power out of the turns - hard. They seemed to suit the 12 very well.

Dang I average for my front 010 around 8000-9000 miles a tire, usually changing out the front for every other rear.

Must ride like pussies with touring tires on there.

I couldn't imagine that.

While my 12 ate up tires more than my 600 I damn sure never saw 10k miles.

Avon's

I have 208's now and they are pretty good. I've got about 500 highway miles on them so far. I had Avons (the performance ones), and loved them. They were on my zx9. The profile was way better than the dunlops. Anyone use them? Thanks Joe

I was getting just over 5k miles on the 208ZR's - front wore a lil slower but was close enough to warrant replacement when I changed the rear at 5600 miles (on the 01 12).

22 rear tires in 27,000 miles. I've used 010, 207's and sporttecs. I like sportecs the best for price/milege
