The tire conversion is a 240. Spike TV show "Top Dead Center" will air the conversion process they filmed on my bike in Mid June.
Turbo Boost and Fuel pressure guage are awesome at night!

Why would they make a 2004 ZX-12R Raptor out of a 2000 model ?

YCIS - the motor is 1270 turbo pistons, don't know the hp yet. Motor only has 360 miles on it. I will take it to Motorhead for tuning when I get 1000 miles or so. Hoping for around 300 hp, but I know the full pipe will hurt it some. Airbox was welded up, no intercooler, but I might put water injection on if needed. Drivability is awesome so far, better than stock. Sound is like a stock bike on Steroids EMS is Yosh box with capability to install 3 maps, maybe one for race gas????? One for street gas?????
guages on tree, if this works now?

Matt - just fuckin around, but I wish they would build a 2004 Raptor or Kaw would bring the 12 out in turbo form from the factory. I bet they would sell a bunch! How about it Extreme - forward the decision makers this thread!

I like the gauge mounting brackets. What kind are they and how did you attach them to the tree?
Thanks,

Ryan- The guages can be baught at any speedsport auto shop for approx $120 each, they are Indiglow lighted. You will have to fabricate some mountting brackets. Mine were made from aluminum stock by Horsepower Mike and welded to the tree.
Here is a picture of the Yosh EMS and rising rate fuel regulator

The Yosh EMS is really a nice unit. More $ than the PC3, but you can carry 3 maps and switch on the fly via a 3 position switch on the bar(this is great for Nitrous). Connect a shift light and do clutchless up-shifts as the EMS cuts fuel momentarily.

Is the shift option is now available for the Yosh EMS? I knew about the sfift light but last I heard they weren't offering the shifter option

gg- I'm not using it, but according to the literature with my ems it is. The gear specific map option isn't for the 12 though.

My thoughts exactly. That would be ugly if the tire delaminated.
Zcat, do you have all the accessories for your EMS? The Gear Position Offset, Shift light, etc?

Mike, The rear tire is a V rated tire to 150 mph. Front tire is z rated. I wrote Metzler and recommended an upgraded version for superbike use, but haven't heard back yet. I wonder if that rating is for 150 on the back wheel only ;-)
