Reason I'm asking is I need to get vacation in NOW. No way I can get off for spring.

As far as I know the May event will happen as usual, no dates have been established. Mid-May is usually a good guess though. The September event I know even less about. If we have one it will more than likely be mid to late September. I wish I could tell you more, but I'm a stupid motherfucker. 
As of now I'm just hoping to make it in May!!! I don't even want to think about September.

Geez... here's a stretch. How about the following?
DG VII - May 15 (Sat.) - 23 (Sun.)
DG VIII - Sept. 18 (Sat.) - 26 (Sun.)
In other words, it's basically the same dates as the others. Usually the third week of May and Sept. Unless Chris has other plans, of course. Actually, it won't matter to me about DG VIII's dates. Like DG V, I'll have to miss that one due to work ("political season").
I was going to have to skip DG VII because of our road racing team's schedule sucking up all my vaction time, but the company has found it in their heart to give me an additional week of vacation time. Specifically to make at least one DG event a year. At least while I part of the team.

Well, I'd like to go as well as long as we don't have any races around that time. 'course, we need our mechanic for the race on May 22.  But, we all know this really revolves around Otis and what-the-fuck-is-he-NOT-thinking assed-out self and vacay time.

I am working on being at the May trip for sure. I agree with Red on the dates. I really can't call it til the baby is born, hopefully the new baby and Michelle will get through the birth ok which could happen any time between now and her due date of Feb 28th. I spoke to Harry last night and it seems he's going to be heading back to Wales right after the May trip and gone for several months so I want to do my best to be there cause I prolly won't see him for a while after that.
And what the hell fun would DG be without Otis? LOL
Also, I'm planning on heading to Vegas for Bart and Kathy's wedding. Any of you other yahoo's going?

Sounds like May could be a slim turnout for sure. If I make the trek, Big Mike, aka "Richard Simmons"  will be with me. In all honesty I've got to make some things happen to make it to the May event. But I am working on it and intend on being there.

I don't ride the Gap on the weekend. Plus I have a race that weekend in Tulsa I need to make.
But anyway - I wasn't invited to go to Bartina McNasty's wedding *sniff* so I'll show him by not going.

Jon I don't think he actually went out of his way to invite anyone prolly cause he didn't expect anyone to go to Vegas for his wedding. I want to go cause he's my brother and also cause I've never been to Vegas before. My wife won't be coming with me so I'm going to bring a couple grand and see how I do at blackjack.

One trip at a time MF!!!!!! I am really hoping that I get to make the May Gap Event at this time.
I'm leaving out for Dallas the 8th of next month on business and will be gone most of that week. I may have to make a few trips out there this year. Couple that with Gap trips, and "regular" vacations and you start having a hard time juggling other responsibilities. I have to keep all this stuff inline with my weekends and weekdays with Blake. It ain' easy brother...........
